Hunt species that don't occur in South Africa! Our privately owned Zambian concession offers prime hunting for Buffalo, Sable and a variety of plains game species that do not occur naturally in South Africa. The property topography varies from Miombo Forest to Wetlands and boasts the only privately owned Lake on the continent.
From Johannesburg, you will fly into Lusaka where your guide will meet you and transfer you to the Lodge. Stay and experience the true spirit of the continent in a historic and renowned African mansion. With breathtaking sunsets on the fringes of Lusaka, Chaminuka started out as the stately home of historian and author, Andrew Sardanis. The lodge’s design draws inspiration from a Zambian village and numerous guests including revered artists and historical figures have called it home, giving the lodge a rich history.
The Lodge is aesthetically pleasing and offers luxurious accommodations with private rooms and a pool, tennis courts, billiard room, three libraries and a gift store. Non-hunters can engage in a variety of on-site activities including Game drives, walking safaris, walk with Cheetah, Elephant interaction, feeding lions, fishing, horseback riding and cheese and wine tasting! Bring your whole family or friends for a fabulous African Experience!
